Hello Flash World!

April 10, 2009

After three weeks of work in a hardly spared free time, our first game, Silver Cell : Non Stop Hits is finally finished.

Being new in online game development troubled us a little despite of our years of experience in offline game developments.

Silver cell is designed to be simple in every ways : simple graphic, animation, simple rules and controls, simple sound. Nevertheless, being a simple product doesn’t mean it’s done heartlessly just like that.

We do follow general game making procedures. We tested the game thoroughly and made changes a few times until the game tasted like how we want it to be. Additional features that were not planned before like power ups and “mood changing” background put us a few hours behind schedule, not to say the other extra hours of testing and game optimization. But at least we turned out to be pretty happy with the end result.

We have ideas to improve the game much better, but by implementing them, the game itself will skid out of its primary characteristic : simplicity.

The resulting product is not a total disappointment, in fact, we enjoy playing the game during testing which makes us conclude that the game is not so bad at all.

We planned a good looking game for the next project, so be sure to keep up to this blog as we posted news and other interesting stuff you may not want to miss!
